Cbs - Finance (Payroll)

Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Asset Management, Information Technology, Talent, Legal, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, and Risk Management.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Work effectively and efficiently as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on work progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll data.
• Prepare and file payroll related taxes.
• Filing payroll payment documents.
• Answer employee questions regarding payroll and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Update payroll records and employee information in the payroll system
• Prepare annual tax slip form 1721 A1 for employees.
• Responsible for payroll processing for employees accurately and timely
• Preparing journal entries, reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good communication skill and able to communicate in English both oral and written.
• Highly motivated, highly initiative and strong eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
• Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and changes in tax laws.
• Ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Work well in team environment and/or independently.
• Excellent in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Candidate must possess Bachelor degree in Accounting from reputable university (min. GPA 3.00 out of 4.00).
