Job Title: Associate / Senior Associate, Southeast Asia (SEA)

Job Summary:

As an Associate / Senior Associate within the SEA team at Z Venture Capital, you will play a key role in our investment team, focusing on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the Southeast Asia region. You will work closely with senior members of the team to support deal sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of promising startups and actively participate in the dynamic venture capital landscape within Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within the SEA market.
• Assist in deal sourcing by building and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts, entrepreneurs, and other venture capital firms
• Prepare investment memos, financial models, and other investment-related documentation for presentation to the investment committee
• Monitor and support portfolio companies, assisting with strategic initiatives, performance tracking, and regular reporting
• Conduct research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and financial performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for early-stage investments and the SEA startup ecosystem
• 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or a technology startup
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of the Southeast Asia market, including knowledge of key industries, trends, and startup ecosystems

Location: Jakarta (flexibility for remote work may be considered)
