Job Description
This role will lead the Business Change Management Team within Capability Branch and deliver its overall responsibilities to:


  • OPTIMISE and SUSTAIN current capabilities.
  • INFLUENCE future capability development.
  • INTEGRATE new capabilities as they are transitioned into use.


What The Successful Candidate Will Be Doing


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Business Change Management Team within Capability Branch. The team will include 5 x Business Change Managers (BCM) posts responsible for cohering the outputs of the Army change portfolio into Business as Usual across Fd Army.


The successful candidate will;


  • Ensure business change is communicated to the User community in a timely manner and coordinate User preparation and acceptance activity;
  • Develop and integrate Fd Army acceptance criteria into the programme plan;
  • Lead Fd Army’s Business Change Management function;
  • Undertake effective risk and issue management with a specific focus on programme outcomes and benefit realisation;
  • Ensure programme scheduling is realistic and considers the impact on the User within Fd Army;
  • Represent Fd Army at Capability User Boards (CUBs), Programme Boards and Capability Integration Working Groups (CIWGs).
  • Lead an annual Modernisation Estimate sprint that considers the overall impact of the Modernisation programme on Fd Army, identifying risks & issues early to inform decisions;
  • Ensure all transition planning artefacts, transition orders and synchronisation orders are produced in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Ensure that effective cohesion is maintained throughout the programme lifecycle across all Defence Lines of Development (DLODs);
