Nagaswara is a leading recording, publishing, and artist management company with over 20 years of relevance in the entertainment industry. We are looking for a bright-minded individual to join us as we expand our team to develop the next generation of talents. As an A&R Manager, you will be responsible for all activities related to our music releases from talent scouting, artist development, production and launch strategies.

What you will do:

·Identify and evaluate industry trends for new talent signings.

·Develop and manage relationships with artists, managers, composers, arrangers, production houses, and other industry professionals.

·Build vision, concept, and artist development strategies for current and upcoming talents.

·Coordinate, review, provide reports and feedback on the label’s recording process.

·Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute release strategies.

·Represent the label to attend relevant industry events and meetings.

Requirements/what you have:

·Deep understanding of popular culture, genres and trends within the Indonesian and global music industry.

·Familiarity with digital musical platforms, research, and current digital media trends.

·The ability to spot music trends as well as new talents based on their musical ability, appearance/image, personality, and other traits.

·Previous experience and familiarity working in the music or entertainment industry, especially in a studio environment.

·Strong network of industry professionals such as artists, composers, arrangers, and other key professionals.

·Excellent communication, collaboration, people management and negotiation skills.

·Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) to perform necessary tasks.

·Some fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

·Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred.
