Minimum 6 years working experience as in-house lawyer from reputable company;

Having experience in retail is an advantage;

Drafting & review agreements and other legal documents;

Provide comprehensive legal research and advice related to relevant issues;

Monitor Corporate Secretary functions, including to provide documents for general meetings of shareholders;

Liaise with relevant government institutions, such as Investment Coordinating Board or Ministry of Trade;

Advise senior management and the Board of Directors on corporate governance matters, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the organisation

Develop and implement risk management strategies and protocols to protect the company's interests and reputation

Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a legal team effectively

Develop, implement, and maintain robust corporate governance policies and practices in alignment with industry standards and legal requirements

Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive advice to mitigate and manage these risks across all aspects of the company's operations

Manage and lead the legal team, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning

2.Previous experience as a Corporate Secretary (mandatory).

3.Previous experience as a Legal Counsel in a legal consultant firm (a plus).

1. In-house corporate secretarial duties, especially handling Corporate Action matters.

2. Maintaining all legal documents of the company group.

4. Building relationships with regulators.

5. Analyzing legal risks and remedies.

Extensive knowledge of corporate and commercial law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property rights.

Experienced in a range of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents;.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively managing team

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Assistant Manager specializing in Law/ Legal Services or equivalent.

Having experience in making contracts, business cooperation agreement (JV), merger & acquisition, and IPO.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Law, preferably in Corporate Law from reputable university.

Good understanding and comprehension on law subjects such as corporate law, property law regulation, contract negotiation & preparation.
