About Us Our client is one of the biggest Public Bank company in Indonesia Indonesian state-owned bank. It has branches primarily in Indonesia, but also found in Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and New York. It had 1000 branches and over 9 million customers in 2006.
As a VP IT Operation Control & Command Centers at our banking company, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of IT operations, control, and command centers. You will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability, stability, and security of our banking systems, while also driving innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring their services meet the organization's standards and expectations. Oversee service level agreements and contract negotiations.
• Systems Operations: Oversee the daily operations of IT systems, network infrastructure, and data centers, supervising a team of technicians and engineers. Ensure system uptime, performance, and security by implementing proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident response processes.
• Incident Management: Establish and maintain effective incident management procedures, ensuring swift and efficient resolution of critical issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize service downtime and identify root causes of incidents for continuous improvement.
• Command Center Management: Oversee the command center operations, including real-time monitoring, alerting, and escalation procedures. Implement and enforce best practices for incident response, problem management, and change management.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Identify cost-saving measures and optimize expenditures while maintaining service quality.
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring resilience in the face of potential disruptions. Conduct regular tests to validate the effectiveness of these plans.
• Risk and Compliance: Implement and monitor compliance with information security standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001. Collaborate with the risk management and compliance teams to develop and maintain robust control frameworks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and executive leadership to align IT operations with business requirements and goals. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on the status and progress of IT operations.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the strategic direction for IT operations, control, and command centers in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the IT operations, control, and command center teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations, command centers, or network operations centers in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance regulations, and risk management practices.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
• At least 15 years’ experience working in banking and financial institution will only be considered
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP would be an advantage.
