About Our Client

Our client is an international group of companies with headquarters based in Jakarta, Indonesia with interests in various sectors, including energy, natural resources, and finance. The power business specifically focuses on the development, operation, and management of power generation projects, including renewable energy sources such as geothermal and hydroelectric power.

The Vice President (VP) Gas to Power is accountable for spearheading the strategic expansion of the gas-to-power segment within the organization, with a concentrated emphasis on pinpointing and harnessing business prospects to amplify the company's gas-to-power portfolio. This role will have a direct report of project-based General Managers and (s)he will be reporting to the COO.

The Successful Applicant

• A robust comprehension of the gas-to-power market's intricacies, encompassing regulatory, commercial, economic, and technical dimensions, is also expected.
• Candidates should have at least 20 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate business development leadership roles, preferably within the energy sector, financial institutions, or the power industry.
• A bachelor's degree in a pertinent field such as Engineering, Business, or Economics is typically a prerequisite, with the potential benefit of possessing an advanced degree or an MBA.
