Job Description

:

  • To drive performance and continuous training of the team deployed across the flash furnaces and material handling operation.
  • To embed a culture of quality, safety and sustainability across flash furnaces and the material handling plant through implementation of all Standard Operating Processes, optimum utilisation of resources and compliance with relevant statutory, safety, health and environment norms.
  • To oversee achievement of budgeted volumes concentrate smelted, matte produced, and blister copper produces of specified quality specifications for the Anode Plant through continuous availability and efficient operation of the Flash Smelting Furnace (FSF), Flash Converting Furnace (FSF) and Material Handling Plant.

  • Graduate Engineer in Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Process Engineering
  • Flash smelting experience is expected; experience with other smelting and converting technologies would be well regarded.

  • Minimum 10 years in smelter operations with at least 5-7 years experience of leading teams
