Software / Technology Architect - Venture Builder

Startup Sumatra is an initiative to develop a greenfield Startup ecosystem in Sumatra region with Batam as center. Apart from seeking opportunities to invest in founders with their own product prototype, the initiative seeks to put together an in house Venture Builder to brainstorm ideas and create innovative digital ventures for the global markets.

PS: This role is for aspiring technopreneurs who spent many years in corporate software development environment and are looking to implement their own ideas or support other founders to develop solutions. Initial remuneration for the role will be in the form of equity followed by justifiable salary upon raising seed funding for the startup project they are working on.

The Software / Technology Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure for a venture builder to churn out new online products at the shortest possible time. They will work with other members of the venture builder team to define the company's technology strategy and ensure that the company's technology is aligned with its business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and train engineers.
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Work with other members of the venture builder team to define the company's technology strategy.
• Design, develop, and maintain the venture builder's technology infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends.
• Ensure that the company's technology is aligned with its business goals.
• Lead the development of new software products and services.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands on software development experience in digital / online / Saas product space.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture.
