Software Development Squad Lead

TreeDots is currently hiring for a Sr Software Engineer

At TreeDots we drive 2 products, respectively related logistics, and b2b e-commerce. Our vision is to ensure a holistic delivery of agri-food from source to merchants and end-consumers. We believe that environmental issues coming from food waste is possible to solve and those are the main goals of our products.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality web and mobile applications. You will be responsible to develop to the highest standards, ensuring your codebase is scalable and tested. You will assume the responsibility of leading a team consisting of 10 individuals. Your role will encompass not only the management of their tasks but also the provision of technical guidance. You will interface with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to build and provide the best experiences for our users. You will be required to participate in sprint ceremonies and voice your concerns in product requirement discussions. You will be responsible to estimate your effort in time, to help in the creation of a product roadmap.

Mandatory requirements

● 5+ years of experience in backend and/or frontend development

● Strong understanding with Javascript (NodeJs) and Typescript

● Experience with these frameworks: ExpressJs, VueJs, Apollo Graphql Server and Client

● Experience with app performances, logging, monitoring of applications.

● Strong understanding of the full-stack, and an ability to investigate issues.

● Deep understanding of MySQL and best practices to scale an application

● Good Understanding on Software architecture, Best practices as well as Design Pattern

Good to have

● Experience with tracing as well as investigating memory leaks or performance issues

● Experience with GCP or AWS

● Experience building a fully automated SDLC
