Senior Accountant., Capital/Joint Venture

Review, analyze, and organize data for cash call, Joint Venture Settlement Sheet and PTFI annual financial report to provide the accurate report timely and accurately in assisting top management to take the right decision.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Monitor, control, and supervise day to day activity closing to ensure closing process will be timely and accurately related to capital/project costs
• Review, analyze, and calculate Joint Venture Settlement Sheet to provide the accurate actual cash call account in making the right decision on cash call for Rio Tinto and PTFI management.
• Compile all data (expenditure, asset, etc.) to support PTFI annual financial report.
• Providing capital/project cost report about the usage of budget in the past, present and future.
• Ensure all accounting transactions executed in accordance with Indo GAAP, US GAAP, FCPA, Company Policies & Procedures, GOI Regulation, and Tax Law
• Providing Capex Data to project owner.
• Compile and analyze all expenditures and Forecast for Capital Project
• Review of Capital Project proposal
• Providing Capex Report to Government, Auditors, and all stake holders.
• Updating AFE Policy to adjust with Changes in PTFI Organization Structure
• Develop Internal Control (SOX) in Capital Accounting.
• Providing GL Rollforward Report, JV Financial Report, Management Oversight to control the company expenditure and asset.
• Liaise for internal and external auditing in discussing and defending the report which have been made to measure the quality of accounting.

The key challenges in this position include:

• Analyze and reconcile complex data
• Tight deadline for book closing and reporting period
• Interdependent factor becomes the main problem because it influences the reporting process and take the long time.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education And Experience

• Bachelor (S1) in Accounting with 5 - 7 years experience in accounting

Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)

• Communication skill (English fluently and Bahasa)
• Comprehend in SAP, Excel/Ms. Office (365), EDW/BO Report.
• Basic Accounting knowledge: Journal, balancing sheet, costing standard and interest over call.
• Hard and smart worker with good attitude.
