Senior Logistics Manager (Luxury)

Monroe Consulting is representing one of the leading Global Luxury Fashion Retail companies. This role will be overseeing all aspects of the company's logistics operations, including import and export regulations, supply chain management, transportation, and warehouse management. The role involves developing and implementing effective strategies to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods across the supply chain, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize the company's supply chain, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant import and export regulations, including customs regulations, trade agreements, and licensing requirements.

• Oversee transportation and warehouse management, ensuring that goods are moved efficiently and safely, and that inventory is managed effectively.

• Manage relationships with logistics service providers, such as carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, ensuring that service levels are met and costs are controlled.

• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs, and take corrective action where necessary.

• Work closely with other departments, such as sales, production, and finance, to ensure that logistics operations are aligned with business goals and objectives.

• Develop and manage logistics budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that financial targets are met.

• Hire, train, and manage logistics personnel, ensuring that they have the skills and resources they need to perform their roles effectively.

Qualifications:

• Hold Bachelor's degree from reputable university.

• At least 8-10 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on import and export regulations.

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, and licensing requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with logistics service providers and other stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex logistics issues.

• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Proven track record of managing logistics operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience with logistics software and systems, such as warehouse management systems and transportation management systems.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
