Senior Legal Specialist Jobs

• Collaborate with external legal counsel, as necessary, to seek specialized advice or support on complex legal matters.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to various departments and senior management on legal issues, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, employment law, and litigation matters.
• Advise stakeholders on contract interpretation, rights, and obligations.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain contract templates, standard clauses, and contract management systems.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and provide guidance on the potential impact on the company's operations and business activities.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, partnerships, and other business agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on legal developments and provide proactive legal guidance.
• Advise on legal matters related to corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal requirements and protect the company's interests.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Several years of experience as a corporate attorney, preferably in a corporate legal department or a reputable law firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Law and a valid license to practice law. Additional certifications or a Master's degree in Law or Business is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the IT industry and related legal considerations is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong corporate law, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
• Have a PERADI License (Active)
• Attention to detail and a high level of integrity and professionalism.
