Senior Esg Consultant Jobs

Role and Responsibilities:

TruClimate is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ESG Consultant will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance solutions to our clients, helping them navigate the complex landscape of ESG considerations and integrate sustainable practices into their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for developing Sustainability Report, Decarbonization Roadmap, GHG Accounting Analysis, as well as Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Goals & Targets Setting for clients
2. Collaborate with clients to assess their current ESG practices and develop the appropriate ESG strategies to enhance client’s sustainability performance
3. Conduct thorough ESG assessments, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations
4. Assist clients in developing ESG reporting frameworks and aligning with international standards such as GRI, SABS, and TCFD
5. Stay up-to-date with evolving ESG regulations, industry trends, and best practices to provide informed insights to clients
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on sustainability matters

Requirements:

• Have a good knowledge of the relevant standards such as ISO 14064-1. Knowing ISO 14064-2, ISO 14064-3, ISO 14065, ISO 14001, and ISO 14067 are plus points.
• A broad interest in sustainability and societal challenges with an understanding of sustainability (business) issues (e.g., governance, environment, health and safety, human rights, supply chain management and community relations).
• Technical knowledge of environmental impacts and emissions including climate change and GHG.
• Minimum 3-4 years full time practical workplace experience in the relevant industries/services preferably in environmental services, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, forestry, and engineering.
• Good understanding in legal, regulatory, and other requirements related to sustainability in Indonesia.
• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, civil engineering, social science, electrical engineering or other relevant sectors.
• Experience in Sustainability and GHG reporting, for example the GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, SASB, CDP, DJSI, TCFD, SDGs and IIRC Framework.

• An excellence command of English both verbal and written including ability to write clear and concise reports in English.
• Ability to plan and manage tasks across multiple projects in parallel to meet client expectations and delivery deadlines.
• A willingness and ability to learn quickly and contribute enthusiastically to our growing business.
• With a keen interest to learn and explore new knowledge and skills.
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and under pressure.
• Reside in Jakarta / willing to relocate to Jakarta during the period of employment.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with people at all professional levels.
• Willingness to travel for visits to client head offices and operational sites.
• Relevant computer skills.
• Highly self-motivated, initiative and resourceful.
