Job Title: Senior Estimator Engineer (Onshore LNG Plant)

The Senior Estimator Engineer will play a crucial role in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) project for an Onshore LNG Plant in Jakarta. The candidate should possess extensive experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry, particularly in Onshore LNG Plants, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. Experience in shipbuilding projects such as FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas), FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit), or FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation: Develop and prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and financial forecasts for the Onshore LNG Plant project during the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) stage.

2. Bid Evaluation: Evaluate vendor proposals and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.

3. Risk Assessment: Identify and analyze project risks and uncertainties that could impact cost estimates and develop contingency plans.

4. Quantity Takeoff: Collaborate with project engineers and other stakeholders to perform quantity takeoff and accurately determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.

5. Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the FEED stage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.

6. Change Management: Assess and quantify the impact of scope changes, variations, and change orders on project costs.

7. Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking studies and cost comparisons to ensure competitiveness and efficiency in the cost estimation process.

8. Documentation: Prepare detailed cost estimation reports, cost breakdown structures, and other relevant documentation as required by the project.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree will be an advantage.

2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in EPC projects, preferably with direct involvement in Onshore LNG Plants. Experience in shipbuilding projects like FLNG, FSRU, or FPSO will be beneficial.

3. Estimation Skills: Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, including quantity takeoff, cost breakdown structures, and parametric estimating.

4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Onshore LNG industry, including relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

5. Software Proficiency: Proficient in using industry-standard cost estimation software and tools.

6. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, assess risks, and develop accurate cost estimates.

7. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate cost estimates and recommendations to project stakeholders.

8. Teamwork: Capable of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and coordinating with various project stakeholders.
