Job Summary:

As a Senior Agronomist, you will play a pivotal role in our e-grocery company, drive Production Growth and Cost Efficiency via SOP-based plant management, resource calculation, and regular management reporting. :

1.Demo Plot Plantation Operations

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the demonstration plots.
• Prepare harvest plans and production forecasting of demonstration plot garden products.
• Develop daily, weekly & monthly work plans.

2.Community Development & Field Monitoring

• Organize planting time from nursery to harvest for new partner farmers.
• Monitor the condition of each farm managed by partner farmers.
• Develop harvest plans and production forecasting of partner farmers' crops.
• Establish and supervise Farmer Groups and Cooperatives.
• Communicating with Farmer Groups on farm problems.

3. Production Growth & Cost Improvements

• Calculate the need for fertilizers, medicines and labor used.
• Manage the standard needs of plants according to SOP to increase yields & quality.
• Make weekly reports from the field to management on existing problems and solutions needed.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting findings.
• Proven 3-5 years experiences as an agronomist or assistant agronomist, with a focus on SOP to increase yields & quality
• Proficient in motorcycle or car riding with valid license, facilitating efficient field visits and mobility.
• Willing to be placed on site & willing to travel to Banyuwangi, East Java.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to evolving industry trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or relevant field from an accredited university
• Have a strong understanding in technical fruit cultivation from the nursery process until harvesting
• Physically fit, free from significant health limitations.
