One of the high-profile lawyers in Indonesia is currently looking for an Associate Litigation to strengthen their litigation team. This job will be stationed in Jakarta.

About The Associate Litigation Role

As the Associate Litigation, you will handle matters such as reviewing contracts, conducting research, conducting mitigation, filing police reports, and liaising with clients. This job will be reporting to the Partner at the litigation working group

Key Responsibilities

• Assist, advise, and represent your clients in matters of criminal case, and/or commercial disputes
• Assist, and accompany clients during investigation of cases
• Provide legal advice to clients on litigation matters

To succeed in this Associate Litigation job, you will need to have high commercial awareness, self-driven motivation, dynamic cultural awareness, and appreciation of how regulations affect the business.

Key Requirements

• Excellent research, verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in law (master's degree is an advantage)
• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills (both in Bahasa Indonesian and English language)
• Exposure and/or practical experience in the field of IT, e-commerce, fin-tech, privacy law, finance, business transaction, and/or intellectual property rights
• Go-to person with a strong personality yet humble in learning from younger people
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to work well within the team and internal/external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• More than five years’ experience as a litigation lawyer at a reputable private practice firm is a must
