Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing

Report to: General Manager
Supervise: Marcom Manager, E-Commerce, Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer, Sales Executive, Reservation
Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the hotel's sales and marketing
strategies. The role involves creating marketing campaigns to attract new guests, developing relationships
with corporate clients and travel agents, and managing the hotel's social media and online presence. The
Sales & Marketing Manager will also manage the sales team and be responsible for achieving revenue targets
and increasing the hotel's market share.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Develop and execute the hotel's sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
● Manage the sales team, including the selection, training, and supervision of staff.
● Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other key stakeholders.
● Identify new markets and segments and develop targeted marketing campaigns to attract new guests.
● Monitor market trends and competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
● Manage the hotel's social media and online presence, including website content, email campaigns, and social media channels.
● Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
● Create and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
● Prepare sales reports and forecasts and present them to senior management.
● Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure that sales and marketing strategies align with overall hotel objectives.
● Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay up-to-date with market trends.
Qualification
● Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
● 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
● Experience in hotel pre-opening with over 100+ rooms.
● Experience managing a team of sales and marketing professionals.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Fluency in spoken & written English.
● Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
● Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and strategies, including digital marketing and social media.
● Experience with revenue management and pricing strategies.
● Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
● Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
● Professional certifications in sales or marketing management is a plus.
The Sales & Marketing Manager plays a critical role in developing and implementing sales and marketing
strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. Managing the hotel's online presence and
collaborating with other departments to ensure that sales and marketing strategies align with overall hotel
objectives.
