Job Description

Job Summary

  • Screening opportunities: Seeking business opportunities for client and sharing them with your analysis. Carrying out preliminary study on potential opportunities from the perspective of backdrops, fundamental demand and supply balance, competition with alternatives, regulatory constraints, financing, technical requirements, cashflow, and risk allocation.
  • Contributing to project team: Carrying out assigned tasks when you are appointed as a member of business partner’s project team for M&A, tender, sales, marketing, research and so on.
  • Market research and Networking: Carrying out market research in the field of LNG, natural gas, electricity, renewables, and related activities by collecting market data, regulatory updates, activity of key players, and engineering topics. Sharing your research with your analysis. Keeping good relationship with regulatory body, key players, financial institutions, law firms, and consultants to get valuable insights in exchange for your well-organized insights on market and company.
  • Supporting business partner’s activities: Keeping positive relationship with business partners and making sure that both parties have the same goal for the growth of their subsidiaries. Organizing periodic arrangements such as strategic meeting, performance review, secondees discussion, and so on for reciprocal collaboration. Organizing technical support between business partners and business partner’s partner. Acting as a focal point between client and partner when trouble or incident occurs in subsidiary and close communication get required.
  • Supporting business partner’s activities as shareholder: Keeping positive relationship with business partner’s subsidiaries and finding potential issues to be resolved in shareholder meeting and the like. Analyzing the issues from various perspectives and preparing legal drafts for business partner to make decision in line with business partner’s policy. Acting as business partner’s agent, representative, attorney, and the like when business partner formally request you to do so. Collecting business plan, budget, accounting data, and related information for client and reviewing them from the perspective of corporate value.
  • Kaizen of BD activity: Improving procedures to carry out above activity and sharing the result.Required


Experience

  • Having experience, skill and knowledge in financial modeling and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) are advantage.
  • Market knowledge and have good networking in Gas Power, Renewable Energy and Energy Transportation/Distribution/Logistics business and its stakeholder such as PERTAMINA, MEMR (ESDM), PLN, Related Private Companies and Related Professional Organization etc.
  • Experience : Having 6 years more experience, skill and knowledge in gas and energy company is as advantage
  • Proficiency in business presentation and computer skill
  • Language : Proficiency in English (written and oral) is required and Japanese is as advantage
  • Education : Minimum Bachelor degree qualification, any background
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative with proactive attitude.
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Having experience, skill and knowledge in business development position is a must.
