Project Manager- Solar Jobs

CCL Global is looking to hire a Project Manager with minimum 15 years of experience in especially complex (renewable) construction power projects. someone with engineering knowledge, especially in designing and implementing floating solar projects.

Its a contract role for 6 months- extendable basis the project.

• You will have excellent verbal and written skills and work in line with the company’s ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. As well as the above you will be expected to carry out the following:-
• As Project Manager you will oversee and direct the project from conception to the completion of the project.
• You shall have the familiarity with the engineering documents, latest construction methods, modern project management techniques and environmental engineering aspects. The Project Manager shall have knowledge in contractual review, constructability review, site plan management, tracking construction progress, field engineering to give practical solution on the challenge faced during the construction phase.
• You will need to demonstrate the proactive attitude to all aspect of project implementation, including but not limited to Construction HSE and promotion of safe site practices.
• You shall have good communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English with the Owners, EPC and company's engineers and Managers, in a professional accurate and fair manner.

1. Managing the team in order to ensure the good supervision of EPC Contractor works in terms of quality and progress aspects. Experience in managing others and good leadership / people management skills.
2. Reviewing the contractual matters and ensure the compliance of the contract implementation
3. Support the drafting of the contractual letters to the EPC Contractor in which will be final approved by the Client before distribution
4. Managing the review and approval of deliverable submitted by EPC Contractor
5. Doing the constructability review with the Contractor in which you shall highlight the risks and issues that will be faced and give the solutions to mitigate the related risks and issues.
6. In the situation that the problem occurred, giving the practical solutions to control the progress and achieve the target completion of each construction activity.
7. Reviewing the construction sequence and schedule done by the Contractor and giving the recommendation to improve the progress and schedule of completion. You shall also highlight the activities, equipment, manpower,… that need to be done or mobilized by the Contractor in order to avoid any delay in starting the construction activities.
8. Reviewing, verifying and giving the recommendation approval for all construction method statement submitted by the Contractors and their subcontractor.
9. Doing the operability review to ensure no operational hinderance after project completion
10. Contributing to production and presenting of progress reports to the Owner
11. Coordinating and Managing reviews of Change Orders and Technical Queries highlighting and addressing issues of contract for the Owner to provide a decision.
12. Review EPC applications for cost and extension of time claims with respect to contract and recommend an appropriate response.
13. Review and comment on the EPC claims of extra work
14. Perform audits of the EPC’s compliance with contract
15. Good understanding and technical knowledge of the construction industry, including the ability to read engineering drawings and understand the construction process.
16. You will be well organised and capable of meeting deadlines.
17. Good maths and IT skills are essential, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is desirable.
18. A good appreciation of the latest Health & Safety legislation and Indonesian Regulations.
19. Good commercial sense is imperative. You will also be experienced in decision making.
