PRODUCTION MANAGER - PACKAGING MANUFACTURER IN CIKARANG, WEST JAVA (ORBIT JOBS' CLIENT)

Our hiring partner, a Packaging Manufacturer Company is looking for a Production Manager and the company offers On-site working situation in Cikarang, West Java, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team on a rotating shift in the Cup production department that runs 24/7.
• Responsible to MIFOT.
• Responsible for implementation of GMP, HACCP and ISO of the department.
• Manage and control direct raw materials and direct labour variance.
• Work closely with other counterparts in assuring the achievement of the company's targets and objectives.
• Maintain high standards in product quality as well as quality and efficiency in all work processes.
• Maintain all machines in tip top condition.
• Drive all process improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Ensures that the subordinates understand the safety requirements and follow all safety rules.
• Responsible for achieving wastage standards and machine efficiencies.
• Carry out any task assigned by the company that may be outside the functional role, e.g. process owner, project team member, mentor etc.

Qualifications

• Basic written and spoken English is a mustAble to analyze data, finding root cause and solutions.
• Min. 5 years solid hands on and similar managerial level experience preferably in multinational packaging or printing industry
• Willing to work on shift.
• Experience with ISO 9000 Quality Management system, GMP & Food Safety and preferably with HACCP experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate wisely to unions and employees.
• University degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineer or any technical background
• Proven successful track record and strong team building and management skills.
• Computer literature.
