Responsibilities

• Manpower productivity, multi skill development, job rotation cross functional development, team building.
• Prepare and monitor annual budget, conservatory measures.
• Critical control on specialty equipment & special repairs.
• Plan & organize preventive, proactive, predictive & breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain QMS / EMS & Fire & safety requirement.
• Vendor development for development of spare parts, specialty repair services, equipment life extension measures.
• Encourage participation in Suggestion scheme.
• Root cause & failure analysis to avoid future failures.
• Ensure calibration of concern equipment.
• Insights from regular production meetings & provide support accordingly.
• Review of health monitoring of static & rotary equipment, suggest repairs.
• Monitoring equipment efficiency & restoring below efficiency equipment.
• Maintain equipment history & advise timely repairs /replacement.
• Minimize down time.
• Defining SMPs for repair & maintenance, modify work procedures, use best engineering practices.
• Knowledge Management & sharing.
• Quality compliance of SWP system.
• Energy audit, energy conservation measures.
• Maintain historical data on the health of the equipment and advise timely replacement.
• Scrutiny of maintenance log sheets & spot inspection at plant.
• Respond to / generate MOC & MWRs requirements.
• Plan proactive steps anticipating problems & constraints of machine.
• Plan maintenance activities to meet production plan.
• Training of manpower on various topics, up gradation of knowledge, behavior, skills, etc.
• Equipment modifications/ de-bottlenecking / enhancement.
• Coordinate the central Electrical department for HT power supply & transformer related problem.
• Develop and arrange vendors / services required for the maintenance of plant electrical system.
• Define, upgrade, ensure contract jobs like fabrication, painting, insulation.
• Maintain sufficient inventory of spare parts considering interchangeability of equipments, Spares storage care, inspection of parts, Review of non-moving items, minimum stock requirements, Indigenous developments of spares on need base.
• Periodic testing, NDT, hydro test etc. of pressure vessels, lifting tools, etc. & comply statutory requirement.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience in PVC Extrusion system.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Team Player.
• Technical, operational knowledge of Electrical systems.
• Knowledge of SHE issues for the product line.
• Understanding of transformers, MCC, LT distribution system, Electrical components, VFDs.
• Emotionally balanced to lead a team.
• Problem solving skills for analyzing the problems.
• Depth knowledge of PLC &SCADA system.
