Product Manager - Crypto

About The Role

As a Product Manager, you’ll be tasked with owning the product development of GoTo Financial crypto product. You will work in the product team that is responsible for the entire lifecycle, from conception to launch and beyond. This role requires your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create and execute a product strategy, prioritize and manage competing demands, and communicate the product’s vision and goals. Ultimately, you will take ownership of the quality assurance of your product and measure the product’s impact on the market, customer satisfaction, and business metrics.

What You Will Do

• Plan and participate in user research initiatives with the Design and User Research teams to understand customer problems and identify and iterate on product ideas and improvements
• Utilize data insights, market and customer research, and your product experience to continually improve your products
• Design and deliver safe and user-friendly crypto products that offer investment solutions and make it safe and easy for consumers to use DeFi services
• Monitor and measure launched products and feed findings back into the product development process
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Engineering, Support, Marketing, and Business to develop product messaging and customer experience
• Own a product stream/feature end-to-end to frame its strategy and drive from its ideation up to the execution
• Take ownership of assuring the overall quality of your product by continuously testing its reliability, usability, and performance
• Research user problems, stay ahead of market developments in the crypto space, research third-party solutions, and build relationships with key partners
• Write and communicate clear, concise, and prioritized feature requirements and user stories

What You Will Need

• You have aligned teams of analysts, engineers, designers, and stakeholders on a shared vision tied to a larger strategy
• Should have at least 3 years of experience in product management of B2C consumer applications/products
• You have driven product development from discovery to concept to launch using metrics and hypotheses sourced from research or experiments
• Ability to excel in a constantly changing and rapidly growing workplace
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle and of the problems developers face at each with debugging, observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
• Experience in working at asset trading and brokerage platforms (preferably crypto) that operate at large scale
• A self-starter attitude to understand systems inside out, and the drive to make it a mission to deliver quality products
• Understanding of key components and ecosystem that powers cryptocurrency exchange platform products
• Curiosity and independence, ability to set own targets, ask for help when needed and always look to learn something new
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, crypto tokenomics, yield-generating protocols, and DeFi landscape
