Purpose

We are seeking a skilled procurement buyer to join our team and help us in managing the end to end procurement activity for raw materials, indirect materials & services, finished products and stock managements area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful procurement in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the PVC pipe and fittings sector. Reporting directly to the Country Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the report of all the procurement deliverables and KPI.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
• Perform the end-to-end procurement/ procure to pay activity for raw materials, indirect materials & services, finished products and stock managements area.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier information.
• Staying up to date with market trends, pricing, and industry developments.
• Performing Supplier relationship management started from the prequalification process, managing the relationship, and performing the regular performance evaluation and audit to ensure the partner are performing according to our standard.
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies that support the company's objectives.
• Performing good sourcing implementation by implementing the company standard and aligning on business principle through audit compliance, starting by the Vendor evaluation, tendering process, negotiation, and final recommendation letter preparation.
• Negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and import/export processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Knowledge of procurement software and inventory management systems.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry, particularly in PVC pipe and fittings.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
