PES ENGINEERING provides engineering and technical services (Civil, Rotating Machinery, Static Equipment, Process, HSE Design, Electro-Instrumental, Layout & Piping), offering over 200,000 hours of engineering per year to all major Oil & Gas Companies, EPC Contractors, Industrial Manufacturers, etc.
Currently, PES ENGINEERING has 9 Locations in Italy: HQ in Rosignano Solvay (LI), San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Taranto, Brindisi, Vibo Marina (VV), Gela. In the near future, it will also open an office in Abu Dhabi to be closer to its main customers and extend its reach.

Position:
The resource will be involved in the following activities:

• Fire and gas detection diagram/display for each unit showing the location of fire and gas detectors with their local signalling devices
• Fire protection diagram/drawings for each unit (showing horizontal and vertical extent) of fire risk area
• For each item of equipment in the list of items, whether the equipment itself is at the origin of the fire hazard area and whether it falls partly or wholly within the fire hazard area
• For each process structure and pipe-rack if it falls partly or wholly within the passive fire protection zone
• Fire protection scheme/drawings for each unit (showing all fixed and semi-fixed connections to the fire-fighting water supply, including foam if required)
• Fire protection diagram showing
• Safety equipment layout/layout for each unit showing the location of portable/mobile fire extinguishers, safety showers and eyewashes
• Development of projects associated with loss prevention and in particular active and passive fire protection, fire and gas detection (including toxic gases).
• Schematic diagram of fire and gas cause and effect

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and be in possession of the following requirements:

• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Medium-high level of English: level B2 according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
• Previous experience in the role in the Oil&Gas sector of 5 or 6 years.
