Marketing Associate Jobs

DealStreetAsia is looking for a marketing associate to support subscription growth, improve customer loyalty and increase brand awareness of our suite of news and related data products. This role will assist in delighting and acquiring customers across paid, owned and earned channels. You will engage with subscription, partner content, events and newsletter marketing.

Since 2014, we have grown from strength to strength starting with a free newsletter and moving from traditional advertising to a paid subscription model. You will support the marketing team to derive customer insights to inform ROI-positive campaigns.

Although this position is remote, we are specifically seeking candidates who are in time zones between GMT+8 and GMT+6.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with our events and digital marketing teams on a marketing plan to promote events and content to the target audience segment
• Design digital and social media campaigns that best appeals to, and engages our target audience segment
• Track campaign performance with measurable methods and/ or report on marketing KPIs
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Develop marketing collaterals and branding assets to be used online and offline
• Coordinate logistics and details for event marketing
• Advise our Partnerships team on the viability of media campaigns on proposal
• Support the marketing team in daily tasks
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with marketing software (e.g.Google Analytics, MailChimp, Wordpress) and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Youtube)
• Knowledge of various marketing channels and technologies, including, but not limited to social media, SEO, email marketing, events
• Basic understanding of UI and UX

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• An erudite technologist who keeps themselves immersed and informed of the latest media monitoring and planning platforms and engagement trends
• 1-2 years experience in a PR, media agency or a publisher
• Fluent communicator of novel ideas across departments
• A consummate media maven who demonstrates wizardry across social media and digital media outlets
• Technical experience in copywriting, and an understanding of media planning and monitoring applications
• Self-starter
