Our client from Financial Industry is looking for Senior Back End Engineer with the full explanations & qualifications listed below:

Responsibilities

Senior Back End Engineer will drive the work of software development, with focus on the server-side of the applications. This position requires large-scale systems awareness, technical skill, planning, great communication skill, experience with software development across various platform.

You are expected to:

• Act as the technical subject matter expert to mentor fellow engineers and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Contribute to every part of our product pipeline from inception to delivery
• A team-oriented approach, with a willingness to receive feedback and iterate on them
• Establish best practices and strive for engineering excellence.
• Take initiative and implement processes to create efficiency for your team and yourself
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable code with a good code coverage
• Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Review code from mid and junior developers and mentor them
• Work closely with Product, Design and Frontend teams to gather requirements, design and build new products, platforms and features

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of experience in software development
• Practical knowledge of modern development principles and best practices (OOP, design patterns, unit testing, CI/CD)
• Advanced problem-solving skills and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and understanding of cloud-based application deployment is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must have worked with both Golang and Java with expertise in Java.
• Proficient in working with various relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and have a solid understanding of database architecture and optimization techniques
• Experience with code review processes and automation tools.
• Extensive experience in building and optimizing scalable systems for high-load environments.
• Advanced Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
