Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join us!

Your key missions include interpreting business requirements and further design, develop, and deliver software solutions that creates value to our customers. You will evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality as well as cultivating a positive engineering culture in the company!

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Keep project manager well informed of task accomplishments, issues, and status.
• Co-ordinate with internal and external customers as required and provide necessary information.
• Take initiatives to introduce new practices and skills into the framework development.
• Create and maintain a knowledge base of system architecture.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer for development team on proposed solutions.
• Have strong ownership and able to manage the team to meet the timelines.
• Define problem statements and propose solutions.
• Provide guidance to team members as required and escalate issues which cannot be resolved.
• Coordinate and integrate different modules and components developed by different team.
• Provide guidance to product and sales team on the feasibility, complexity of proposed feature.
• Conduct hands on coding, troubleshooting, and testing for complex modules with best programming practices.
• Ensure development team are well informed and supported through solution implementation, co-ordinate the review, presentation and release of design layouts, drawing, analysis, and other document.
• Design and lead the development of core features for enterprise level framework to meet the business and project needs.

Qualification in IT or computer science or equivalent

• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience with web and applications (mobile app experience a bonus).
• Experience with a broad range of AWS or Azure cloud ecosystem.
• A good understanding of architecture practices and standards, System design.
