Primary objective of the role;

To work as part of the Implementation team in accordance to the direction received from the Head of Services to deliver on the company strategy. The role encompasses building, managing the company infrastructure, including networking, servers, desktops. In addition, installation, support and management of applications required by the Company. PCI-DSS and general security must be continuously observed in the Company.

• Printers
• AWS/Azure/VMWare
• 7+ years of experience Competencies

Key Responsibilities;

Infrastructure and Network Configuration

• Ensure backups are performed and monitored.
• Assisting in identifying and resolving problems related to the infrastructureand anticipating requirements. Act as escalation point/domain expert if theteam is not able to resolve technical issues.
• Assist the Head of Services in implementing the overall IT operating model.
• Maintain and ensure DR and BCP testing (business continuity planning)
• Infrastructure and network installation and configuration,
• Implementing solutions in respect of business requirements with the relevant resources from service providers.

Incident and Problem Management

• Test to ensure systems are functional following an interruption in service.
• Monitor the investigation and resolution of problem and co-ordination of technical activities to facilitate the quick resolution of problems.
• Support and maintain network and infrastructure to prevent future occurrences of incidents and problems.
• Ensure that incidents / problems are documented and resolved either inhouse or with the relevant service providers.
• Ensure that all system failures are reported.

Information Security Management

• Maintain ISMS (Support, design, monitor and maintain IT security) in conjunction with the Head of Services.
• Keyloading of product Gateways, Cardinal Servers, HSMs and POS devices
• Assist the Head of Services in implementing and maintaining PCI-DSS and PCI-Pin compliance.
• Assist the Head of Services in preserving assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
• Assist the Head of Services in completing the PCI audit

Application management

• Install and maintain Software applications required by the product
• Install, support and upgrade Products

Vendor Relationships

• Effectively managing vendor relationships in conjunction with Head of Services
• Coordinate the procurement of services and hardware from vendors
• Assist the Head of Services with all IT-related contractual obligations, i.e. negotiating, renewing or terminating contracts

Cost Management

• Assist the Head of Services in planning for Capex/Opex requirements for IT Infrastructure
• Implement initiatives to reduce operational costs and the cost of IT to the company
• Maintain Asset registers
