About Us Our client is one of the biggest Public Bank company in Indonesia Indonesian state-owned bank. It has branches primarily in Indonesia, but also found in Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and New York. It had 1000 branches and over 9 million customers in 2006.
As a VP IT Hosting & System Infrastructure at our banking company, you will lead the team responsible for managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports our banking operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving technological advancements to support our business growth.
Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, monitoring service level agreements, and evaluating performance against defined metrics.
• Security and Compliance: Collaborate with information security teams to implement and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for protecting sensitive data and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the hosting and system infrastructure function in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. Define and execute strategies to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the hosting and system infrastructure function. Continuously monitor infrastructure-related expenses and identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to regularly test and update plans and procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and IT teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that align with business strategies. Present regular updates on infrastructure performance, projects, and initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and high performance. Provide guidance and support to team members in accomplishing their goals and objectives.
• Capacity Planning: Develop and implement processes for capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization. Monitor system utilization trends and ensure the infrastructure can support business growth and changing demands.
• Hosting Infrastructure Management: Manage the end-to-end hosting environment, including data centers, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure. Ensure the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and capable of supporting the current and future needs of the organization.
• Systems Administration: Oversee the administration and management of computing systems, servers, storage, and databases. Ensure optimal system performance, security, and availability, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with security protocols, compliance regulations, and disaster recovery best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of IT hosting architectures, cloud platforms, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of system administration, server clustering, storage technologies, and databases.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 15 years’ experience working in banking and financial institution will only be considered
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing hosting and system infrastructure in the banking or financial services industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
