Information Technology Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate reporting of security metrics and KRI to management on the state of security posture.
• Promote & perform security awareness and education to inculcate good security practices.
• Work in partnership with colleagues in the global Cyber Security teams to share knowledge, support regional/global initiatives and best practices on cyber security.
• Be part of the team to implement the vulnerability management activities, which may include vulnerability scanning, coordination and tracking of security patching, security testing and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• Willing to take on new tasks and initiatives to contribute towards continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of cyber security controls, regulations, processes and standards
• Able to conduct operation and maintenance of firewall and various endpoint security
• Good working knowledge of industry trends, products and technology in the Cyber Security domains (e.g., data, network, system, virtualization, internet of things and cloud).
• Self-driven and independent, with good attention to detail and quality.
• Must be CISPP certified
• Minimum 3-5 years of cyber security experience
• Experience within the banking or finance industry is a plus point
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence & collaborate with management, regional offices, technical managers and other key stakeholders.
