Information Technology Security Manager

WE ARE HELPING A CLOUD & HOSTING COMPANY TO LOOK FOR AN INTERNAL IT SECURITY MANAGER (ISO 27001)

s:

• Drive cultural change to ensure IT security is an important consideration of every team member.
• Monitor defined Security Objectives, collect, and report data to ensure ongoing compliance and operating effectiveness is met.
• Identify IT, operational and organisational risks, and report to the ISMS Steering Committee.
• On-boarding & off-boarding users to our IT systems, internal and external, as required for particular staff member needs.
• Manage Information Security Management System (ISMS) maintaining ISO 27001 compliance.
• Review compliance of third-party vendors and systems.
• Maintain and review ISMS Policies, Procedures, and Information Security related documentation.
• Maintain ISO 27001 registers in line with policies and procedures.
• Assess and prioritise risks and assist developing strategies for managing or mitigating the risk.
• Work with both Country, Global and Divisional IT teams within the holding group on Information Security related projects and services.
• Establish annual and long-range security and compliance goals and a roadmap for continual ISMS improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience working within the IT operations team.
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Japanese language will be a plus
• Haveastrong Information Security backgroundwithgoodadminandtechnicalknowledge.
• Tertiary Qualification in Information Systems, Technology, or related discipline.
• WillingtoworkflexiblehourswithAsia-Pacific users across 5 countries.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC will be a plus
• Demonstrated experience in implementing, maintaining, and improving information security risk management systems in alignment with ISO 27001.
