Head Of Treasury & Trade Operation

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Treasury & Trade Operations Head to oversee and lead our treasury and trade operations department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of treasury transactions, trade finance activities, and risk management. They will also play a key role in optimizing financial performance and driving organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Verify documents/slip received from the treasury dealing room, including signatures, authenticity, amount, currency, tenor, transaction type, maturity dates, and rates.
2. Supervise the proper bookkeeping and journal entries in accordance with established instructions.
3. Approve SWIFT messages, such as MT320 for Money Market transactions and MT300 for Forex transactions (valuta today, tom, and spot).
4. Perform checks on reports sent through Antasena Bank Indonesia to ensure accuracy and compliance with transaction records.
5. Leverage treasury transactions to increase fee-based revenue for Bank Mega Syariah, particularly through placements in Treasury products such as Money Market (Fasbis, SukBI, SIMA, SIPA, TD Valas BI), FOREX (TOD, TOM, SPOT), and Fixed Income (Corporate and Government SUKUK purchases).
6. Execute SKBDN (local Lc) transactions to enhance revenue from SKBDN openings.
7. Collaborate with Human Capital Management and foster the development of high-character, highly productive, and competent human resources to support the achievement of division goals by:
8. Proposing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), evaluating and assessing the performance of subordinates under their coordination.
9. Ensuring the team under their coordination carries out their duties and responsibilities effectively and in accordance with applicable regulations, providing motivation, coaching, and necessary development steps for team members.
10. Adhere to internal and regulatory compliance standards.
11. Monitor and follow up on audit findings, ensuring the implementation of corrective actions and resolutions based on internal or external auditor examinations.

Requirements:

1 Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in treasury management, trade operations, or a similar field, preferable
• Experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing a team or department.

2 Treasury Management Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, liquidity management, risk management, and financial instruments.
• Familiarity with international trade finance, including letters of credit, trade finance facilities, import/export documentation, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Familiar whit treasury management system
• Proficiency in utilizing treasury management systems (TMS) and other relevant financial software.

3 Regulatory Compliance:

• Experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing appropriate controls and processes.
• Strong understanding of local and international financial regulations related to treasury and trade operations, such as anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and sanctions.

4 Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations to optimize treasury and trade operations.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of treasury and trade operations.
• Proficiency in preparing financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and other relevant documentation.

5 Risk Management:

• Proven experience in identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with treasury operations, trade finance, currency fluctuations, interest rates, and counterparty risks.
• Familiarity with hedging strategies and risk management tools to protect the organization against potential financial exposures.

6 Leadership and Communication Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and drive results.
• Demonstrated ability to present complex financial concepts and reports in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
