Head Of Procurement - Healthcare

Our client is a leading listed health care company based in Indonesia with a long history and well known in the industry. They are currently a leader in the key categories of health care and looking for someone with a strong background in health care industry to succeed this procurement role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Be part of negotiating process with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Manage direct and indirect procurement
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Lead procurement team and ensure the operation runs well

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing supply chain operations min. 10 years in healthcare industry
• Excellent in analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent in strategic planning and long term planning
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• A bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
• Has a strong leadership skills and sense of health care business
