Head Of Contracts Management

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Leading a team of contract engineers and mentoring them to improve their overall performance

2. Acting as the key contact point in regards with the contract/commercial matters for all projects with relevant delegation

to respective contract engineers

3. To review, comment, socialize and follow up on contract deviations highlighting contractual and commercial risks in

Contracts with client, partners as well as Subcontract Agreement / Purchase Orders to vendors and subcontractors

4. To review pre – award and post – award contract documentation such as confidentiality ITB, draft agreement, MOUs and

provide feedback

5. Oversee drafting of contracts with clients, partners and amendments thereof to incorporate the necessary clauses to

safeguard interests of the company.

6. To support any change management / disputes with vendors, subcontractors, clients and partners from contractual

perspective

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, quantity surveying or Law. Further post-graduation in technical or management discipline will be an advantage

2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in project-based environment EPC or project-based environment

3. Ability to work unsupervised and unassisted, but with frequent status reporting to relevant parties

4. Able to identify a potential problem in advance and present action plans to mitigate risks

5. Well versed in use of MS Office applications as well as open to learning new applications

6. Good language skills (reading, speaking, writing) in Bahasa Indonesia and English

7. Prior knowledge of ERP system, especially in SAP-MM

8. Proven leadership skills in fast paced project environment

9. Good understanding of Terms and Conditions of purchase

10. Ability to multi – task and handle variety of assignments in parallel

11. Good analytical and numbers processing skill to aid negotiation, estimation and benchmarking

12. Flexibility to travel when necessary to expedite different parties

13. Proactive in confronting problems and finding resolution
