Head of Content and Curriculum

Position Overview:

The Head of Content and Curriculum is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational content and curriculum. This individual plays a critical role in shaping the learning experience for students and coaches, ensuring that the content is engaging, effective, and aligned with educational standards and the company's goals. The Head of Content and Curriculum will create a good relationship with each university in ASEAN countries to do need analysis regarding what kind of courses and training should be delivered to their countries, collaborate with a team of content developers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to create innovative and impactful learning materials.


Key Responsibilities:


1-- Conduct training need analysis, Content Strategy, and Planning:

* Conduct training need analysis to find out who are the learners, demographic gap.

* Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and educational objectives.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to identify content needs and opportunities.


2-- Curriculum Development and Implementation:

* Lead the design and development of a coherent and comprehensive curriculum across various subjects and grade levels, catering to different learning styles and needs.

* Ensure that the curriculum adheres to relevant educational standards and guidelines, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.


3-- Content Creation and Review:

* Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality learning materials, including videos, interactive exercises, assessments, and other multimedia content.

* Conduct regular content reviews to maintain accuracy, relevance, and alignment with learning objectives.


4-- Learning Experience Design:

* Champion the use of instructional design principles and pedagogical techniques to enhance the learning experience for students and educators.

* Collaborate with UX/UI designers and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of content into the digital learning platform.


5-- Team Leadership and Development:

* Lead, and inspire a team of content developers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts.

* Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to support the growth and success of team members.


6-- Assessment and Data Analysis:

* Establish and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content and curriculum, making data-driven decisions to improve learning outcomes.

* Use assessment data to identify learning gaps and recommend necessary content adjustments.


7-- Partnerships and Collaborations:

* Collaborate with external partners, such as educational institutions, publishers, and subject matter experts, to enrich and expand the company's content offerings.


8-- Quality Assurance and Compliance:

* Ensure that all educational content meets quality standards, copyright requirements, and accessibility guidelines.

* Comply with relevant regulations and data privacy laws in the creation and delivery of educational content.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Science, or, and engineering field with a good experience in educational/training company.

* Good communication in English, written and verbal.

* Proven experience in developing educational content and curriculum, particularly in the context of digital and online learning platforms.

* Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles and learning theory.

* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

* Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.

* Knowledge of educational technology trends and emerging tools for content creation and delivery.

* Understanding of educational standards, such as Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, etc.

* Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use analytics and assessment data to inform content decisions.

* Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

* Passion for education, a commitment to promoting inclusive learning environments, and a desire to drive positive educational outcomes.

* Willing to travel overseas within region if needed
