HEAD OF BRAND MARKETING

Position: Head

Location: Surabaya

OVERVIEW:

Miniletics is a start-up athletic apparel company selling premium products directly to consumers through e-commerce. Our vision is to establish Miniletics as an internationally recognized Indonesian brand, synonymous with sports and household markets. Role & Responsibilities:

•Play a critical role in the Marketing & Brand function, reporting directly to the CEO.

•Drive audience growth, acquisition, retention, brand awareness, commerce opportunities, product launches, experiential/pop-up events, athlete initiatives, content, and usage through social and digital marketing.

•Develop and execute a robust organic social and performance marketing vision and strategy while managing a dynamic, young team.

•Collaborate with the Head of Paid Media on budget planning and execution across SEM and Paid Social.

•Drive audience growth and affinity with millennial and gen Z audiences (youth, yoga, training, and wellness cultures), in addition to cultivating core brand ambassadors.

•Lead social and digital marketing efforts across offline/online, paid social, SEM, programmatic, video/content, and emerging platforms to create an engaging customer journey and marketing automation.

•Develop moment-based (campaign) and always-on social media strategies to influence and create culture.

•Establish and manage test-and-learn plans to continuously optimize media investments.

•Work closely with cross-functional teams; brand, creative, insights, and commercial for campaign strategy, insights, and performance analysis to drive engagement and revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Qualities:

•3+ years of experience leading and managing offline/linear owned & operated and all things digital (paid media, email, SMS, web/app push) across agencies or established brands.

•Expertise in Advertising, Marketing Technology, and campaign optimization, including performance budgets of more than Rp 2B+ a year.

•Strong ability to inspire and coach, with a history of hiring, managing, leading, and mentoring high-performing teams.

•Proven ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative data to develop actionable insights and a thorough understanding of cross-channel attribution.

•Ability to think strategically across short-, medium-, and long-term marketing vision, consumer segments, and goals.

•Thoughtful, collaborative leadership with strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.

•Team leader with the ability to mentor, coach, manage, and provide strategic direction to a young team.

•Experience working with Google, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, and various demand side platforms (DSPs).

•Strategy-minded, as well as excellent at execution.

•Deep knowledge and understanding of advertising and marketing technology, emerging digital platforms, and offline/online marketing trends.

•Experience and deep understanding of engagement drivers across organic social media platforms, media, and end-users.

•Candidates may come from copywriting, planning, agency, or social media backgrounds.

Preferred Qualities:

•Experience buying and trading media directly, including new and emerging platforms.

•Athletic apparel industry experience a plus.

•Connections to sports, fitness/conditioning, and culture industries.
