We are looking for a dynamic marketing leader with hospitality and travel industry experience ready to take a successful resort to the next level. The Head of Marketing is a marketing expert who is responsible for the resort's overall marketing and sales results. This position is in charge of marketing and sales strategies, as well as efforts to strengthen resort's market position and achieve both business and financial goals. Overview
The Head of Marketing is primarily responsible for driving both online and offline strategy and leading a team that delivers integrated campaigns while being hands-on with the execution of campaign programs for both the resort and retreat businesses. You will serve the mission of the resort by clearly articulating, maintaining, and growing brand, and how to ensure your colleagues take ownership of the brand across the resort. You possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to develop and maximize revenue opportunities within the resort.Client engagement is a top priority. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenges simultaneously. It is important that you are able to take initiative and make decisions without daily guidance.
This position is a key member of the leadership team tasked with ensuring the satisfaction of clients, guests, and owners. You are responsible for staying on top of marketing trends and opportunities, as well as collaborating with internal and external associates and partners to ensure the resort meets or exceeds its financial goals.

Responsibilities
- Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
- Set the tone for the marketing, revenue, and sales team by providing outstanding leadership in accordance with mutually agreed-upon sales goals and priorities.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
- Clearly define the performance expectations and measurement processes for the revenue and sales leaders, to ensure that efforts and attention will result in the achievement of those expectations.
- Take responsibility for revenue forecasts throughout the year, and exceed quarterly and annual forecasts.
- Develop insight into the complexities of market segmentation, as well as the tools available to select the best approach for you and your team.
- Manage marketing and sales budget and expenditures
- Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Make evidence-based business decisions and understand the significance and impact of getting the resort's targeting right.
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing, sales, and revenue team
- Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
- Take responsibility for the annual marketing plan, strategy, and team
- Effectively communicate with other Managers and Supervisors.
- Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/materials
- Work closely with the revenue and sales leaders to align sales and marketing strategies
Experience:
3+ years of hospitality marketing and sales management experience.
Qualifications:
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Team player
- Has a track record of meeting budgets across multiple platforms.
- A creative mind with a track record of generating revenue for the resort.
- Takes full responsibility for budgets and revenue targets, and is constantly developing strategies to exceed them.
- Takes pride in being extremely well-organized and prepared at all times.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of market research
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Has a strong understanding of how to effectively price and manage room inventory.
- Good time-management skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Well-versed in MSOffice, and preferably has experience with property management and revenue management systems.
- An effective negotiator and problem solver.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required.
