(Global Ict) Datacom Engineer

About the Company

Our client is a multinational Chinese employer which is providing network tools, network services, and telecommunication related needs. Our client's headquarter is based on Shenzhen, Guangdong who's established in 1987. This company is starting to produce phone switches, and now developed into creating the telco network providers which is not only tools, but also the complex service for domestic and international coverage. Their products are reaching more than 170 countries with more than 195,000 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level technical training to customers and commissioning workers to enhance their technical skills.
• Offer engineering technical support, both remotely and on-site, for troubleshooting issues in Datacom Network projects.
• Deliver Lower Level Design (LLD) Datacom Network Planning and pre-sales technical support for Datacom Network projects.
• Diagnose complex issues that are beyond the capability of a typical engineer, and provide comprehensive reports to the customer and project team.
• Lead project implementation activities, including technical design and planning, hardware supervision and commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Focuses on various aspects of Huawei's Datacom Network products. This includes pre-sales technical support, network design, project implementation, training, and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Should be a team player, self-motivated, results-driven, highly independent, and exhibit a strong capacity for learning.
• Previous experience in Cisco and other international Datacom Network engineering roles is essential. Should have strong technical knowledge of Datacom Network equipment and prior project experience.
• Willing to work in Jakarta, Indonesia.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering-related field.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are required. The ability to maintain good relationships with customers, display logical thinking, and demonstrate effective organization is crucial. Experience in team leadership is preferred.
• Should be well-versed with commonly used Datacom protocols (TCP/IP, RIP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSec, VRRP, etc.).
