NFI is a platform that makes it possible for every designer and creator to create Non-Fungible Items powered by blockchain technology. Non-fungible items are 3D NFT items that can be integrated into an individual's life in social media and extended reality. NFI takes NFT beyond the 2D.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers to understand and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug gameplay issues, optimizing performance and ensuring smooth gameplay experiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in gameplay technology, sharing knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to integrate visual and audio assets into the gameplay systems.
• Iterate on existing gameplay features based on user feedback and playtesting sessions.
• Contribute to technical design documentation, providing input on feasibility and potential improvements.
• Develop and integrate core gameplay systems such as controls, AI, physics, animations, and player feedback.

Requirements:

• Must have shipped multiple titles with at least one of them in either a AAA or large Indie studio.
• Understanding of version control and agile processes (git, pull requests, feature branches, story points, etc)
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Expert level C++ knowledge with at least five years of experience.
• Strong understanding of game development principles, including game mechanics, AI, physics, and animation.
• Experience working with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Have an interest in gaming, blockchain, or both.
• Able to work independently but also engage with the team.
• Able to anticipate long-term issues and problems, but also build for the present.
