Financial Quantitative Analyst Jobs

Our client, a multi-national investment company with offices in over 10 locations, is looking to expand its Quant team to spearhead their alpha research in the global market. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to contribute to the new alpha development through rigorous exploration and unconstrained thinking about applying data to the financial markets. You will have the opportunity to employ tested processes to identify high-quality predictive signals that we believe are undiscovered by the wider market.

As part of our team, you'll have the chance to:

• Develop trading algorithms for profitable implementation of models.
• Focus on alpha research and development, with a primary focus on idea generation, data gathering, and research/analysis.
• Implement and back test models for systematic equity strategies. You will combine sound financial insights and statistical learning techniques to explore, analyze, and harness a large variety of datasets to build strong predictive models that will be deployed to the investment process.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Fluency in English is required, and Bahasa Indonesian (Fluent)
• Must relocate to Vietnam (HCM or Hanoi)
• Must have the ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms
• A demonstrable track record of excellence in your area of specialization, as well as strong abstract reasoning and independent problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related area from a top-ranked university.
• Demonstrated ability to program in C/C++ on a Unix/Linux platform.
