Description:

Potensi is seeking a highly skilled English Trainer Assistant to assist our team of trainers to provide comprehensive training to our esteemed clients. This position is project-based and offers a great opportunity to contribute to the professional development of our educators.

Responsibilities:

• Assist team of trainers in conducting engaging and interactive training sessions for trainees.
• Stay updated with the latest methodologies and resources in English language instruction.
• Collaborate with a team of trainers to design and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Conduct assessments to identify areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and resources.
• Provide individual and group support to teachers, focusing on improving their English language skills.

Requirements:

• Commencement of work in August 2023 is expected.
• Flexible schedule, with availability to work up to 20 hours per week.
• An understanding and appreciation of different cultures are necessary. Sensitivity to cultural differences, along with the ability to foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment, is important.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching platforms is advantageous.
• A comprehensive understanding of the English language, including grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and literature, is necessary. Familiarity with various teaching methods and techniques for language acquisition is also beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, classroom management, and assessment are highly valued.
• A high level of proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in spoken and written English, along with a strong grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and literature, is crucial for effective teaching. This proficiency can be demonstrated through a TOEFL/IELTS certificate.
• Demonstrates a passion for education and a strong commitment to supporting the growth and development of teachers.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in English language teaching or training. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Well-organized and capable of managing their time effectively. Planning lessons, evaluating students, and providing feedback require efficient time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with students and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles are important.
• Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current teaching methodologies, research, and trends in English language education is expected.
