About The Country Investment Officer Role

In this business critical role you will be responsible for performing professional consulting and investment practice across the firm’s offices. You will also need to perform business development/ client origination which will impact the bottom line of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage weekly report meetings with Directors from other local offices
• Execute/participate in consulting projects/project module(s) as assigned
• Execute duties for both business development and project delivery purposes
• Act as the discussion partner and collaborator with other senior members (Directors/Managers) for new business development
• Build networks with clients in Indonesia. ­ Governmental offices, private companies especially technology companies and investment funds

To succeed in this Country Investment Officer job, you must be proficient in English, have solid experience within investment as well as possess excellent leadership and business development skills.

Key Requirements

• Good time-management skills and a flexible attitude, with ability to meet tight deadlines and handle simultaneous work streams
• IT skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Good understanding of the Indonesia market, coupled with sound business knowledge
• Mentally mature personality with strong customer service orientation with willingness to work in a demanding and results-oriented team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong command of English and local languages
• Highly resourceful, with superior problem solving and analytical skills
• Five or more years of prior experience in local private equity, investment banking, M&A practice. Relevant strategy consulting experience is a plus
• Holders of advanced graduate degrees (e.g. MBA, PhD, etc.) from Tier-1 schools with academic focus in a Business or Quantitative discipline (e.g. Finance, Business Administration, Management, etc.)
