Job Description
About the Role:
  • We are seeking a skilled Core Operation Audit Specialist to join our team. Using data driven audit, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures through audits, reviews, and analysis of core operational processes. The Core Operation Audit Specialist will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to streamline and optimize operational procedures.
What You Will Do:
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to core operational processes
  • Conduct internal audits of core operational processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Monitor and track progress of corrective action plans
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address audit findings
  • Analyze audit findings and prepare reports detailing areas for improvement and recommendations for process optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues
What You Need to Have:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field
  • Proficiency in Google workspace (docs, sheet, slides)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adequate knowledge in core banking data analysis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational auditing, preferably in a financial institution
