Compliance Specialist Jobs

About the Role :
Perform the compliance function to ensure the Bank's activities are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining a strong Compliance Culture at all levels of the Bank's organization to minimize compliance risks.
What You Will Do :

• Ensuring timely delivery of Compliance Implementation reports internally and externally (to regulators).
• Performing compliance testing based on a risk-based approach to lending/financing activities, with reference to the relevant regulations in place.
• Providing consultation and recommendations regarding compliance aspects to ensure that the Bank's business activities always operate within the framework of the applicable regulations.
• Engaging in continuous communication with regulators and acting as the main liaison between the Bank and regulators, including in relation to audit and supervision activities, following up on requests for data and/or information through coordination with relevant units.
• Coordinating with the Sharia Supervisory Board regarding the implementation of compliance functions for Sharia principles in services and products carried out by the Sharia Business Unit.
• Monitoring the level of compliance risk in the Bank.
• Conducting evaluations of the Bank's policies to ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
• Disseminating new regulations and conducting training or socialization on the new provisions, including providing understanding of the regulations to new staff members.
• Enhancing compliance awareness to foster a culture of compliance through the implementation of Compliance training programs.
• Ensuring the Bank's compliance with commitments made to regulators.

What You Need to Have :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry.
• Proficient in communication and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Have analytical thinking skill.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1).
• Minimum of 3 years in compliance/legal/audit/risk management.
• Compliance minded.
• Possess technical expertise and knowledge related to banking operations, understanding of policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in building relationships.
