Compliance Officer Jobs

Description:

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to government regulations and avoids missteps that could result in legal ramifications, financial or reputational damage. You will also be helping the teams in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust compliance program.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Be the company’s regulatory liaison
• Keep up to date with prevailing regulatory requirements
• Ensure and verify that all policies and procedures have been complied with and in accordance with regulatory standards
• Prepare appropriate compliance reports to regulatory bodies
• Inform and train management and employees about compliance-related matters
• Conduct and oversee internal reviews to ensure that procedures are followed accordingly
• Evaluate and review business activities such as investments for any compliance risk

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Compliance function within the capital market
• Familiar with the capital market industry and its regulatory framework
• Experience in reviewing or building a company’s compliance framework
• Familiar with capital market products and the applicable regulations
• Experience in assessing a company's compliance report for regulatory audits
• A degree in Law or having knowledge of the law is preferable
