Completions Management System (Cms) Application Support Specialist

Responsibilities
Job Overview:
McDermott’s Engineering IT department is looking for a Completions Management System (CMS) Application Support resource
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all application and IT issues related to the completions system are properly documented, and tracked in McDermott’s Service Now system
• Coordinate with Global McDermott CMS Support and the CMS vendor (e.g., Lucy / Prometheus Group) to escalate and coordinate support as necessary for application or IT infrastructure issues
• Provide system / functional information to internal and external parties as necessary
• Set up, configure, and maintain the Completions Management System (CMS) based on corporate standards and client / contract requirements
• Provide in person / remote training, as required, for project team members on how to use the CMS based on their project role, corporate standards, and client / contract requirements
• Ensure requested changes to the completions database set-up and configuration are reviewed and documented
• Provide application technical support and guidance for project CMS Administrators or Super Users at the jobsite, fabrication yard, or offshore

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Preferred: Co-Console or MCPlus (e.g., Fluor’s version of Co-Console)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Also acceptable: Omega PIMS R4 or ICAPS
• Minimum of 5 years’ implementation and/or application technical support experience with CMS applications such as
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Completions, Commissioning, and System Turnover
• Familiarity with Service Now considered a plus
