Collection Manager (Remote) Jobs

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Collections Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in collections, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. As a Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire collection process, managing in-house collection teams as well as vendor collections. Your primary goal will be to improve collection efficiency, meet targets, and ensure timely payments on past-due accounts.

What You'll Do:

• Drive teams to meet targets while maintaining high motivation levels.
• Manage the entire collection process for our BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) product.
• Oversee daily posting of payments to customer accounts.
• Analyze portfolio and provide inputs to risk teams for the improvement of risk policy.
• Facilitate successful internal and external audits through thorough documentation.
• Review all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure.
• Supervise both the in-house collection team and vendor collection processes.
• Track daily numbers and targets, ensuring better controllership and collection efficiency.
• Hire, train, and mentor new employees on collection methods, documentation requirements, and performance strategies.
• Supervise the setup process of call centers and drive teams to achieve targets.
• Handle manual repayments
• Implement incentive-driven programs to motivate collectors to achieve targets.
• Regularly review delays in closures and non-resolution cases, addressing customer service issues with the operations team.
• Document interactions in the computer database and ensure information is up-to-date.
• Coordinate with legal resources and recovery teams to manage default issues.
• Design and create reporting mechanisms and presentations for leadership reviews.
• Engage with customers in case of escalations and keep track of payment disposition status through regular updates.

What You'll Need:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and account reconciliation.
• Proficient in data visualization and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with legal and recovery processes.
• Experience in managing call centers and motivating teams.
• Proven experience as a Collections Manager or similar role, with minimum of 7 years experience of collecting: BNPL / pay later / similar loan products. More diverse loan products experience will be an additional value.
• Ability to handle escalations and resolve customer service issues.
• Knowledge of risk analysis and portfolio management.
