Responsibilities

1. Menu planning: Developing menus that showcase a variety of Chinese dishes and flavors.

2. Ingredient selection and preparation: Choosing fresh and high-quality ingredients, such as meats, seafood, vegetables, herbs, and spices. They may also be responsible for preparing ingredients, such as slicing, marinating, and seasoning.

3. Cooking techniques: Applying various Chinese cooking techniques, such as stir-frying, steaming, braising, deep-frying, and roasting, to create flavorful and well-prepared dishes.

4. Flavor balancing: Understanding the principles of Chinese cuisine and achieving a balance of flavors, including sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.

5. Presentation: Paying attention to the aesthetic presentation of dishes, using garnishes and arranging the food attractively.

6. Kitchen management: Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.

7. Collaboration: Working closely with other kitchen staff, such as sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of dishes.knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Additionally, some food safety certifications may be required to ensure the quality and safety of the food served.

Qualifications

• Have Experience working in Chinese Restaurant
• Will be placed in Kuningan, Jakarta
• Has the expertise to cook a variety of Chinese dishes
