Chef De Cuisine Banquet

AYANA Hospitality is currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Cuisine Banquet to join our team. As a leading player in the hospitality industry, we are dedicated to providing top-notch services to our global clientele. The Chef de Cuisine Banquet will be responsible for managing the banquet kitchen operation, ensuring that the highest quality of culinary experiences are delivered to our guests. The ideal candidate should possess excellent culinary skills, food knowledge, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to the health and safety standards mandated by local laws
• Monitor budget and staffing levels to ensure that cost goals are met
• Maintain good working relationships with all departments
• Oversee all kitchen operations for banquet events, ensuring timely execution of high-quality cuisine
• Develop the menu for the banquet events in coordination with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager
• Ensure that the inventory of food and supplies is maintained and controlled, minimizing waste
• Train and manage the banquet kitchen team, supervise and mentor subordinates

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of international cuisine and culinary techniques
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team towards success
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, with a specific focus on banquet operations
• A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about learning and staying current with food trends and culinary innovations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and able to make quick decisions
